Mey Lin, The Taste of China!

FINALLY, an update! 🙂

Fritz, my husband, and I always go to SM North EDSA, to buy groceries, stroll around, shop, and most of the time, to EAT! We are always fond of trying out new places to eat, because WE LOVE FOOD!

We got curious about this newly opened restaurant while we were looking for a place to eat, so we went in Mey Lin to taste their food for the first time.

Mey Lin offers noodles, rice meals, dimsum, desserts, etc. You can check their menu here.

Let me now show you what we ordered:

Seafood Noodle Soup – Meal size, Php 200+

Crispy Fried Chicken Leg Rice

Fried Pork Chop Rice

Black Gulaman

If I recall correctly, the price of the Rice meal is Php 180 and the Black Gulaman is Php 80. I think the food is worth the price. I like their food. The chicken meal does not taste like ordinary fast food, and the serving is generous too. The noodle is al dente! 😀

I still love the Gomoku Ramen, by Kimono Ken, more than their Seafood Noodle Soup, though. 🙂

You may want to try eating there if you have a chance.

4 FINGERS @ SM North Edsa

Fritz and I are always trying out new restaurants at the mall. Chicken’s got the most variety and is the most tasty, do you agree?

To stay away from the usual popular fast food chains catering chicken meals, we tried out 4 Fingers Crispy Chicken at the Ground Floor of SM City North EDSA, Main Bldg.

Since we are not that diet conscious back then, we chose the 4 Fingers Crispy Chicken Meal. This includes 6pcs. Wings/Drummettes  with your choice of Soy Garlic/Hot/Mix sauces, a small soda/iced tea and fries/rice for the amount of Php 229.00. Check full menu here.

We are instantly in heaven after we took the first bite of the Crispy Chicken! It is so tasty, and very satisfying! It is guaranteed hot and fresh because they prepare your food after you order it. It is not the same as other fast foods where the orders are already lined up on the shelf.

The presentation is also unique, because the food is placed on a stainless rectangular can that look like below.

The beverage cup also has a very creative design.

As of today, Fritz and I have been there about four to five times already. There are a lot of food to choose from and I bet that they are all equally satisfying.

I would suggest for you to try the Crispy Chicken first, because it is the best.
